EMPLOYEE BENEFITS CARRIER TRANSITION
Effective January 1, 2026, the Warren Hills Regional Board of Education will move directly to Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBSNJ) for medical coverages. You will be automatically transferred to the equivalent BCBSNJ plan in which you are currently enrolled.
* Watch for new ID cards coming in your home mail in December.
* There are no changes to our BeneCard prescription or Delta Dental plans.

Open Enrollment for our District benefit plans is held each year so eligible employees can make adjustments to their health plans. During Open Enrollment, you can opt for the following as eligible:
* Select a different health plan
* Add or delete dependents
* Enroll for District coverage
* Waive District coverage
Open Enrollment for our health plans is typically held in the Fall for each plan year beginning January 1. We hold Open Enrollment for the District FSA and Vision plans in the Spring for the July 1 plan year. Watch for notices as these Open Enrollment approaches!
Note: qualifying life events (such as marriage, divorce, birth of a child, adoption, or loss of other coverage) allows you to adjust your benefit elections outside of Open Enrollment. To be eligible for this special enrollment opportunity, you must request the change within 31 days (60 days for the birth of a child) of the qualifying event.
